Attorney Profile
Otto L. Haselhoff finished college in just 2 and ½ years and went straight to law school on a merit scholarship. He graduated from New York Law School in 1992. After five years of practice in New York City he moved west and opened an office in Beverly Hills, California. The firm’s main office eventually moved even further west to its current location at 201 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica-just one block from the Pacific Ocean.
From the very beginning, Mr. Haselhoff’s cases have been among the most difficult and expensive cases to handle. Most lawyers simply do not have the experience or resources to go "head to head" with the best defense firms paid handsomely by multi-billion dollar insurance companies. But the Haselhoff firm is different. That is the reason why so many other lawyers throughout the country refer their most complex and largest cases to Mr. Haselhoff. Tireless preparation, aggressive case work-up, out of the box thinking, and dogged determination have, time after time, turned the hardest cases here into winners.
To date, Mr. Haselhoff has won over $45 million dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients and enjoys a success rate better than 95%.* His awards include two awards over $10 Million dollars, eight awards over $1 Million dollars, well over thirty awards over $250,000. Mr. Haselhoff‘s latest and most interesting cases include the following exceptional results:
* $21,000,000
for a 6 year old girl crossing a street mid-block who was hit by a car
* $12,000,000 for several US Marines injured or killed when a tire on their 15 passenger van delaminated, the van rolled over, and the roof crushed
